Mike Block is a pioneering cello player, singer, composer, and educator, passionate about cross-cultural collaboration through music. Sandeep Das is one of the leading tabla virtuosos in the world today. The pair originally met as members of the Grammy-winning Silkroad Ensemble. “Never before has such an unorthodox pair of instruments sounded so deeply powerful,” says WBUR of the dynamic, cross-genre duo’s music.
